  1. Product Sourcing:
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trending products, new suppliers, and potential partnerships.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a consistent and reliable source of high-quality products.
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost-effectiveness while maintaining product quality standards.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Implement and oversee a robust quality control process for all incoming merchandise.
    • Establish and communicate clear quality standards and specifications to suppliers.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that products meet or exceed quality expectations.
  3. Inventory Management:
    • Collaborate with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels based on product demand and market trends.
    • Monitor and analyze inventory turnover and make data-driven decisions to minimize overstock or stockouts.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align merchandise strategy with overall business goals.
    • Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline the supply chain and ensure timely delivery of products.
  5. Trend Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products.
    • Use market insights to make strategic recommendations for product assortment and improvements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Merchandise Manager or in a similar role within the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
