Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst to join our growing team. This role is critical in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decisions for our e-commerce business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor strategies to ensure our business remains competitive and innovative.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the e-commerce landscape.
– Analyze customer behavior, purchasing patterns, and preferences to support marketing and sales strategies.
– Perform competitor analysis, including pricing, product offerings, and promotional activities.
– Gather data through surveys, focus groups, and other qualitative and quantitative research methods.
– Collaborate with internal teams to define research objectives and ensure alignment with business goals.
– Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present research findings and actionable recommendations.
– Monitor industry news and developments to anticipate market shifts and emerging trends.
– Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and product launches to provide insights for future planning.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in market research, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
– Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in market research tools and techniques, such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups.  Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, R, or Python) is a plus.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data in a simple, clear manner.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
